Working in the Hill country site, we selected Badulla district on priority bases.
- Badulla TCCS
The following four TCCs are actively participating: Siharam, Aruvi, Sakthi, and Vanavil
- Operated through local co-operative societies
- Three TCCs are registered with the Department of Co-operatives
- University students have visited all four TCCs and provided positive evaluations
- Three TCCs have begun collecting loan repayments and reissuing funds to new members
- Detailed progress reports have been shared with project sponsors
Individual TCC Updates:
- Aruvi: 10 families have successfully launched their projects and begun repaying loans
- Sakthi: All 10 families are active and have started loan repayments
- Vanavil: All 10 families are progressing well and are also repaying loans
